Welcome to the Glenvale Tuckshop Information page.
The Tuckshop is available Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. The food served from the tuckshop complies with the Queensland Government “Smart Choices Guidelines” with only green and amber foods on offer.
If your child has any special dietary requirements, please feel free to come to the tuckshop and have a chat with the convenor. We are happy to assist wherever possible to ensure your child can be catered for.
The tuckshop cannot extend credit to students. Any student who requires lunch and does not have any money must see their teacher or go to the school office where the matter will be dealt with.
If you are interested in assisting the tuckshop either by volunteering in the tuckshop, by donating kitchen items (sandwich bags, paper towel, glad wrap etc.) then please contact the convenor on 07 4659 2123.
Tuckshop ordering
Ordering from the tuckshop has never been easier with the convenient QKR app. The QKR app is better for parents:
- Fast, easy payments from a secure mobile app, or a website if you don't have a smartphone
- No need to load funds in advance
- No more fees for parents
- No more ads within the app
- Flexibility to place orders wherever and whenever you like
- Copy lunch orders from one week to the next
- Place orders for all your children and make one payment
Orders can be placed using the paper bag system on the day required. Orders are to be written on 2 bags (1 for first break and 1 for second break) with the child’s name, which break it’s for and class written clearly on both bags. We sell bags for 20c each or you can buy a pack of brown bags from various stores. Place all the money into the bags and fold the top to prevent the money falling out and being lost. The tuckshop windows will open at 8:00am to receive orders with all orders being received by 9:00am on the day the order is required.
Only prepacked items including drinks and ice blocks will be available to purchase over the counter
All other items must be pre ordered
Please note that collection of ice blocks are only after the 2nd bell, for both breaks and if your child has ordered an ice block on their lunch bag they must have their bag with them to collect their ice block
Prep to Year 3 – The baskets of tuckshop will be taken to their classroom
Year 4 to Year 6 - Students are to collect their own tuckshop from the tuckshop windows
