Glenvale Outside School Hours Care (GOSHC) is a fully licensed program, regulated by the Office of Early Childhood Early Childhood Education & Care for which the Glenvale SS P & C Association is the Approved Provider.
The children participate in activities in line with the National OSHC curriculum, ‘My Time Our Place’. The curriculum engages children in activities and experiences that scaffold and extend their learning, based on the children’s interests. GOSHC Educators value that the children’s time at GOSHC is their time and valuable learning occurs naturally during play.
The GOSHC offers programs Before & After School Care as well as pupil free days and Vacation Care.
The service goal is to provide care for Glenvale State School children in a safe, engaging environment with qualified Educators who value that each child is unique and important.
Before school care
Monday - Friday, 7.00am - 8.30am (8.45am for Prep children)
Permanent bookings $21 per child per session, less CCS
Casual bookings $23 per child per session, less CCS
After school care
Monday – Friday, 3.00pm - 6.00pm
Permanent bookings $26 per child per session, less CCS
Casual bookings $32 per child per session, less CCS
After School Care operates Monday to Friday during the school term. Afternoon tea is provided. The children will come straight from their classroom after school to “Koolkuna”. They are ‘signed in’ on the attendance roll by the Centre Coordinator or Assistant. Children are to be collected from the centre and ‘signed out’ by their parent/s or carer/s.
Vacation care
Monday - Friday during school vacation periods & student free days
7.00am - 6.00pm
$57 per day including afternoon tea
Excursion days - extra costs associated
Vacation care operates Monday to Friday during school holidays and Pupil Free Days (public holidays excluded). Lunch and morning tea are not provided at Vacation Care. Afternoon tea will be provided. Excursions are also offered at Vacation Care.
Child care benefits available and Child Care Rebate is available through Services Australia.
