Sport
A focus on student participation and staying active means that at Glenvale SS we offer a great range of sporting options. Interschool sport is offered for students in years 5-6. Students compete against other Toowoomba schools in sports including softball, cricket, volleyball, touch football, netball, soccer, rugby league, hockey, and AFL.
Regional development officers and community sporting groups support our school throughout the year as well.
Music
Glenvale has an expansive Music program including a choir and an instrumental music program for students in years 4-6. Students also have the opportunity to be a part of musicals and eisteddfods as well as local music festivals.
Student engagement activities
Glenvale has an extensive range of lunchtime activities for all students to enjoy. Promoting fun, fitness and involvement in our school community. These may include table tennis, idance, drawing club, drama club, highland dancing, guitar groups and much more.
Resource centre
Glenvale has an expansive Resource Centre, students are able to borrow from the resource centre before and after school and during school breaks. Parents are also welcome to register for borrowing.
