Glenvale State School is committed to providing a quality education for all students with a focus on high expectations and a belief that our students can achieve and succeed. Glenvale State School utilises Education Queensland resources, Curriculum into the Classroom (C2C), to deliver the Australian Curriculum which is designed to develop:
  • successful learners
  • confident and creative individuals
  • active and informed young people who are ready to take their place in society.
This sets the goal for what students should learn as they progress through their school life (ACARA, 2010).
At Glenvale State School, students study the National Curriculum for English, Maths, Science, History, Geography and Physical Education. Students also study the Essential Learnings in Health, Technology, The Arts, Music and Indonesian (LOTE).
